BSPA Philosophy: To futher development and maintenance of professionalism
in law enforcement, to evaluate the policies and programs within the Criminal Justice System and their effect upon the community.
To elevate, protect, and work for the good and welfare of the community, the country, and the membership.
BSPA Commitment:
- To improve the relationship between the law enforcement officer and
the community;
- To encourage and aide the enlistment of Minorities into the law enforcement
profession;
- To address the concerns of minority officers, to preserve fairness
and excellence within the law enforcement profession;
- To strike out racial degradation, to secure all legitimate rights
and privileges for members and all officers;
- To uplift fellow officers and serve in the interest of its members
and families;
- To participate in community issues, events, and volunteer time for
public safety;
- To work for the general welfare of the community as a whole,
and assist in the development of our youths of the future.
